This grade family is tailored for shale gas and tight oil stimulation work, where it is used to build linear gel or serve as the base gel for cross-linked fracturing fluids. It offers an alternative to guar-based systems in projects where low-residue, allergen-free chemistry is preferred, or where local guar supply and pricing are a concern.
A controlled degree of substitution gives fast hydration on the fly at the wellsite and a clean break when combined with common oxidative or enzyme breaker systems. Low insoluble residue helps protect proppant pack conductivity after the treatment, while consistent iron and ash levels support a more formation-friendly fluid design overall.

Application
This series is used in slickwater fracturing fluids, linear gel systems, and as the base polymer for borate or zirconate cross-linked gel used in shale gas and tight oil well stimulation, as well as in workover fluids for unconventional formations.
