HEC (Hydroxyethyl Cellulose) is a non-ionic, water-soluble cellulose ether produced through alkalization and etherification of natural cellulose. Due to its excellent thickening, suspending, water-retention, and film-forming properties, it is widely used in coatings, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, petroleum extraction, and other industries.

Mechanism of Action:
The hydroxyethyl groups (-CH₂CH₂OH) on HEC's molecular chain provide strong hydrophilicity. When dissolved, HEC functions through:
Thickening: Molecular chains extend to form a network structure, increasing fluid resistance.
Suspension: Prevents particle settling (e.g., pigments in coatings, ceramic slurries).
Water Retention: Locks in moisture to delay drying (e.g., in cement mortar, cosmetics).

HPMC is a non-ionic cellulose ether produced by alkalization and etherification of natural cellulose. Containing both methoxyl and hydroxypropoxyl groups, it exhibits excellent water solubility and thermal gelation properties.

The recovery of toluene, isopropyl alcohol, methyl chloride, tert-butyl alcohol and acetone all adopts the distillation tower process, which reduces the consumption of raw materials and reduces environmental pollution.
The company's production process adopts DCS automatic control, and a safety instrumented system (SIS), safety interlocking system, and emergency shutdown system are installed in the reactor to ensure the safety and reliability of production.
Process waste gas treatment methods are divided into three types: chlormethane waste gas is pretreated with liquid nitrogen cryogenics and then put into the RTO incinerator for treatment, other process waste gases are directly sent to the RTO for incineration, and waste gas from the sewage station is sprayed and oxidized with sodium hypochlorite solution.
